At the moment I am writing a bunch of songs on the stories of women who other people looked down on or ignored or used as scapegoats. I am writing a little everyday in order to keep the writing muscles going. I hope that in amongst the dross there may be something useful! 

it's funny when you have an idea, and people go 'oh really' and you know they don't get it! but trust me, even if you don't know me! they are amazing stories and I hope that in the Spirit of a true troubadour, I may allow the music to give them an added voice.

I was very chuffed to see Laura Marling and Mumford and Sons get Brit awards this week, such great young writers!
